Milk chocolate

🌱 Vegetarian

Description

Milk chocolate is a creamy, sweet product with a mild cocoa aroma and a smooth, shiny surface in a warm, light brown shade. The flavor is dominated by creaminess and sugar, with delicate notes of cocoa and vanilla, making it silkier than dark chocolate. From a nutritional standpoint, it primarily provides energy from fats and sugars, also containing protein and calcium from the addition of milk, as well as small amounts of iron and magnesium; however, it contains fewer antioxidants than dark chocolates, so it is advisable to consume it in moderation. In the kitchen, milk chocolate works perfectly in desserts, sauces, glazes, cookies, and drinks, pairing well with fruits, nuts, and crumbly cakes. It should be stored tightly wrapped in a cool, dry place, away from strong odors and at a constant temperature (ideally 15–20°C), to avoid "bloom" and loss of aroma; with proper storage, it retains freshness for several months.
