Ogórki gruntowe
Description
Field cucumbers are crunchy, juicy, and slightly sweet, with a fresh green aroma; their skin can be dark green and rough, while the flesh is light with small seeds. They mainly consist of water, are low in calories, and provide small amounts of vitamins C and K, potassium, magnesium, and fiber, as well as antioxidants. Regular consumption supports hydration, digestion, and skin health, while having a low glycemic load, making them a beneficial addition to a light diet. In the kitchen, they are suitable for salads, cold soups, sandwiches, tzatziki, and pickles, as well as a refreshing addition to drinks. Store unwashed in a cool place; ideally in the refrigerator drawer wrapped in a paper towel or in a perforated bag, away from ethylene-producing products. Use within 5–7 days or preserve if you want to extend their shelf life.
