Description
Heavy cream with 30% fat content has a thick, velvety consistency and a creamy, slightly sweet taste, with a color ranging from white to light ivory. Due to its high fat content, it emulsifies well and creates stable whipped structures, which gives dishes fullness and delicacy of flavor. Nutritionally, it provides calories and saturated fats, as well as fat-soluble vitamins, primarily A and D; when consumed in moderation, it can increase the feeling of fullness and facilitate the absorption of fat-soluble nutrients, although excessive consumption increases the risk of excess energy in the diet. Heavy cream 30% is versatile in the kitchen — it works well for whipping for desserts, enriching sauces, cream soups, pasta sauces, casseroles, creams, and chocolate glazes, as well as a coffee addition. It should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 0–6°C, in its original, tightly sealed packaging, used within a few days after opening, and not frozen; for whipping, both the cream and the bowl should be chilled.
