Lasagna pasta
Description
Lasagna pasta consists of wide, flat sheets with a delicate, neutral flavor and a matte, light yellow color; after baking, it takes on a soft, slightly elastic texture, well absorbing sauces. Nutritionally, it is a source of complex carbohydrates, with a moderate amount of protein and low fat content, while whole grain versions provide more fiber, B vitamins, and minerals, which promote satiety and stable energy levels. In the kitchen, lasagna works not only in the classic baked dish with ragù and béchamel but also as layered fillings in vegetarian and vegan versions, as well as for rolling or stuffing (cannelloni). Store dry pasta in a cool, dry, and airtight container; keep fresh sheets in the refrigerator for 2–3 days or freeze for 1–2 months. Store prepared dishes in the refrigerator for 2–3 days or in the freezer for about 2 months.
