Description
30% cream is a thick, creamy product with a velvety, light cream color and a full, slightly sweet taste with a distinct fatty note, which gives dishes a rich, satin-like texture. Its high fat content (about 30%) makes it calorie-dense, but also a concentrated source of energy and fat-soluble vitamins such as A and D; when consumed in moderation, it aids in the absorption of fat-soluble substances and provides a feeling of fullness. In the kitchen, 30% cream is perfect for enriching soups, preparing sauces, creams, desserts, and ganache; it can also be partially whipped and combined with fruits or coffee; slightly less stable when whipped than 36% cream, it requires cooling. Store it in the refrigerator (2–6°C), in a tightly sealed container, use within 3–5 days after opening, and do not freeze to maintain its consistency and flavor.
