Description
36% cream is a thick, creamy product with a mild, slightly sweet dairy flavor and a shiny, uniform white color with a creamy hue. It has a rich, velvety texture, whips easily, and adds fullness of flavor and a smooth structure to dishes. In 100 g, it contains about 340 kcal, around 36 g of fat, 2–3 g of protein, and 2–3 g of carbohydrates; it is a source of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, K) and provides energy while supporting vitamin absorption, so in moderate amounts, it can contribute to a feeling of fullness and diversify the diet. In the kitchen, 36% cream is perfect for sauces, soups, creams, gratins, desserts, and whipping into whipped cream, as well as enriching risottos or omelets. Store in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2–6°C, in the original packaging or an airtight container; after opening, use within 3–5 days. It can be frozen, but it may change consistency and whip less well, so for whipped cream and sauces, it is best to use a well-chilled product.
