Sea salt flakes for sprinkling

🌱 Vegetarian 🌿 Vegan

Description

Sea salt flakes are delicate, flat crystals with a light white, sometimes slightly pearlescent hue, that crunch and dissolve on the tongue, releasing a pure, marine flavor that is somewhat milder than table salt. Due to their texture and aesthetic appearance, they are perfect as a finishing salt — sprinkled on steaks, grilled vegetables, salads, seafood, chocolate desserts, or caramel, they enhance flavor and add contrast. Nutritionally, it is primarily sodium chloride with small amounts of minerals such as magnesium, calcium, or potassium, containing no calories or significant nutrients. It can support electrolyte balance, but should be used in moderation due to its sodium content; because of its intense texture, often less is needed than with regular salt. Store in a sealed, dry container away from moisture and direct light, in a cool place.
