Mąka pszenna tortowa (typ 450)
Description
Wheat flour type 450 is a finely ground, light, almost white powder with a delicate, neutral taste and silky texture that gives baked goods lightness and a subtle, soft crumb. Due to its low protein and gluten content, baked goods become more crumbly and delicate than when using bread flours. Nutritionally, it is primarily a source of carbohydrates and energy, containing small amounts of protein and fat, and relatively low fiber and minerals compared to whole grain flours; it is advisable to combine it with fiber and vitamin-rich products for a balanced diet. Typical uses include sponge cakes, shortcrust and creamed cakes, delicate cookies, pancakes, and sauces, where a velvety texture is desired. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from strong odors; in high humidity conditions, it is advisable to keep it in the refrigerator or freeze it to extend freshness and prevent insects.
