Pieprz czarny w ziarnach
Description
Black peppercorns are small, round fruits with a dark, wrinkled skin and an intense, spicy-aromatic scent with a hint of citrus. The flavor is sharp and peppery, with a warm, long-lasting finish that enhances and balances both meat and vegetable dishes. Nutritionally, pepper provides small amounts of fiber, vitamins, and minerals, and the piperine it contains exhibits antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, aids digestion, and increases the absorption of certain ingredients, such as curcumin. It is most commonly used as a versatile seasoning for meats, sauces, soups, marinades, and vegetable dishes, as well as an aromatic finishing touch to dishes — preferably freshly ground. It should be stored in an airtight container in a dry, cool, and dark place; whole peppercorns retain their aroma much longer than ground pepper.
