Description
Semi-fat twaróg is a white, slightly creamy cheese with a grainy texture and a mildly tangy, fresh taste. It has a pleasant moisture level and velvety curds that spread easily or crumble in dishes, providing a subtle milky aroma without excessive greasiness. It is a good source of high-quality protein, calcium, and B vitamins with a moderate fat content, which supports muscle building and regeneration as well as bone health while keeping calorie intake in check. It works well as a base for fillings, cheesecakes, spreads, and dips, as an addition to salads, sandwiches, or pancakes, and as an ingredient in traditional dumplings and casseroles.
