Fine wheat flour
Description
Wheat flour (coarse) is a light beige, slightly coarsely ground product with a delicately grainy texture and a neutral, subtly sweet taste of wheat, which adds a pleasant texture to dishes. It is rich in carbohydrates and gluten protein, contains a small amount of fat, as well as minerals and B vitamins, and due to its coarser structure, it provides slightly more fiber than very fine flours. It delivers quick energy and supports the feeling of fullness, but it is not suitable for people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity. Coarse flour works great for gnocchi, dumplings, pierogi, pancakes, crumble, as well as an addition to bread or breading, where it enhances the texture. It should be stored tightly in a dry, cool place, away from moisture and odors; for longer storage, it is advisable to keep it in the refrigerator or freezer to prevent rancidity and pests.
